Website Terms and Conditions
MEDICAL EMERGENCY NOTICE: IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR GO TO YOUR NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY. THIS WEBSITE DOES NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES.
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("T&C") carefully before using this Website. By accessing or using this Website, including all courses, products, e-books, videos, webinars, blog posts, e-newsletters, consultations, services, emails, and social media content (collectively, the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these T&C in full. If you do not agree, do not use this Website. The website and its content is owned by Monique Kamaria Chheda, M.D. and Skin Harmony MD ("Company", "we", or "us"). The term "you" refers to any user, visitor, client, patient, purchaser, subscriber, or viewer of www.skinharmonymd.com and any related online content or services.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions on www.skinharmonymd.com without notice, and by using the website and its Content (as defined below) you are agreeing to the T&C as they appear, whether or not you have read them by viewing www.skinharmonymd.com.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Website. By accessing or using it, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Use by anyone under 18 is unauthorized and a violation of these T&C.
This Website and all of its content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. This Website and all of its content are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Educational information provided through articles, newsletters, videos, webinars, podcasts, downloadable resources, social media, emails, and other online content is intended solely for general educational purposes.
Use of this Website alone does not create a physician-patient relationship or any other healthcare provider-patient relationship. Medical care is provided only through a separate clinical relationship established during a scheduled telemedicine consultation, subject to applicable laws, informed consent, and Skin Harmony MD practice policies.
Medical knowledge continually evolves. Educational content on this Website reflects the available evidence and clinical judgment at the time of publication but may change as new scientific evidence emerges.
We have no affiliations with hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare businesses.
Neither Monique Kamaria Chheda, M.D. nor anyone associated with Skin Harmony MD provides individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment through general website content, newsletters, blog posts, social media, downloadable resources, courses, webinars, or other educational materials.
You should not rely on any information on this Website as a substitute for advice from your own physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, therapist, counselor, licensed dietitian, nutritionist, or other licensed healthcare professional. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you have read here. Do not start or stop any medication without first consulting your own healthcare provider.
Statements regarding dietary supplements, botanicals, vitamins, nutritional products, skincare products, and other non-prescription products discussed on this Website or made available through affiliated vendors have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unless expressly stated. Such products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Medical outcomes depend on individual factors. We cannot predict or guarantee any particular result, whether added benefit or avoidance of harm. Each person's results will differ. Visitors and clients agree to assume the risk of any changes they choose to make based on information provided.
Telemedicine services are provided only where permitted by applicable state law and only after a physician-patient relationship has been established. Skin Harmony MD offers telemedicine services for eligible adult patients who are physically located in Maryland, Virginia, or the District of Columbia at the time of the telehealth visit.
Video conferencing technology can limit or affect the scope of telehealth visits because your practitioner cannot perform a physical examination or may miss certain signs and symptoms that would be apparent during an in-person visit. Clinical staff may only have the health information you provide during the telehealth service and may not have access to your full medical record. Telehealth may also limit the medications that can be prescribed due to clinical necessity or legal restrictions. The telehealth visit may not achieve the same scope as an in-person visit and may be discontinued if videoconferencing connections are not adequate for the situation, or if other arrangements or referrals would better serve your needs. Potential risks of this technology include interruptions, unauthorized access, and technical difficulties. The alternatives to a telehealth visit will be discussed prior to or during the call, as appropriate. Patients will be advised about the use of photos, use of prior medical records and information security prior to video-conferencing.
Testimonials on this Website reflect the experiences of actual clients. They are provided for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results.
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal, financial, tax, or business advice. We are not your lawyer, accountant, or financial advisor. Consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation. Nothing on this Website constitutes legal, financial, tax, insurance, or business advice. Any discussion of payment, insurance reimbursement, superbills, or third-party services is provided for general informational purposes only. We are not responsible for your health, financial outcomes, business decisions, or any results arising from your use of information on this Website.
